Ambre Blends is very well known around the Indianapolis area, and is one of our top lines, but does it really live up to all the hype?
According to their website, "Amber oil has been used for centuries for its medicinal and aphrodisiac qualities. The blending of amber oil, the primary ingredient in all Ambre Blends products, with other organic essential oils creates Ambre Essence. Once activated by the body’s warmth, our essences produce a unique, long lasting, individual fragrance that exquisitely compliments one’s own natural chemistry. Ambre Blends selects only the finest, organic ingredients to soothe your mind and protect your well-being. The mix of these ingredients produces a clean, sensual and addictive essence which develops a unique scent on each wearer."
I do agree, the scents are addictive, and they are unlike anything you've ever smelled before. Each scent smells different on different people. What smells amazing on someone else might not be the best choice for you. For instance, the Unmasque was my least favorite at first, then I started smelling it on other people and I love it now!
You also don't have to stick to just one scent. You can layer or alternate them. I recently started using the 100% Olive Oil Bar Soap in Solace. It makes my skin so soft and it smells amazing in the shower! Then, I use the body lotion in either the Ambre or the Invoke.
The most popular item is the 10ml roll-on in Ambre. It is by far our customers' favorite. It's easy to apply. You roll some in your palm, rub your palms together to warm it up (which gives it a stronger scent) and then run it on your 'hot spots' - inside elbows, back of neck, chest....
The older the oil is, the stronger the scent becomes. Our testers in the store are always much older than the product we sell, so we recommend aging the oils by letting them set in a hot cup of water for about 20 minutes. Then, when you've used most of your roll-on and are ready to refill it, you can get the refill size and mix the new oil with your old to make it stronger faster.
I have also used the spritzers as a personal scent, and on linens. Fabrics hold the scent much longer and are a great way to freshen up your home.
All in all, I think Ambre Blends is the best fragrance out there. Since it doesn't have any chemicals in it, it's not harsh like perfumes. It uses all natural ingredients and essential oil, so you know you aren't using anything dangerous.
